The Lynx gave Brooke Smith #22. One would have to be an unfathomably geeky fanboy to have two Lynx jerseys that say "Smith" (they're probably retiring Katie's #30, do you think). It's very good to see Brooke Smith smiling again in this Lynx media day photo -- last we saw, Florida State was ending her run at Stanford in the second round of the NCAA regionals, and Smith was her usual demonstrably emotional self. There won't be two players I'm rooting harder for than Brooke Smith and Brittany Wilkins during this preseason.
